Director's Inspiration
The Mythos Murders incorporates the eerie, cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft’s renowned Cthulhu Mythos with darkly enchanting visuals reminiscent of Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth and the stunning work of Ivan Friedman; all of this intertwined in a gritty determination and nuanced story similar to those found in the best of British female-led police procedurals.

The Mythos Murders captivates audiences with a chilling, atmospheric narrative that explores the depths of human fear, resilience, and the unrelenting pursuit of truth and redemption in the face of gruesome eldritch horror.

officer Mo Goles
Officer MO GOLES is a bright, energetic go-getter. A failure to save a child has scarred Mo and so she moves to Seattle seeking a fresh start and redemption.

Although she has excelled as an officer with an exceptional record of arrests and lives saved, she hungers to be a detective. Her drive leads her to accept the strange and dangerous assignment offered by LT. KANE. The lieutenant seems hard-core and strict, but Mo's fine with that.

Mo draws on her self-defense skills and firearms mastery as she fervently embraces her new assignment. She launches into an investigation of a list of suspects, but is surprised to find she's becoming more and more attracted to one of them, Curt Bryson.

Mo finds new strength as the case progresses. She discovers and deals with a terrible villain, but knows there is more - maybe human - perhaps not. And she finds it more horrific than she could have imagined.

Lieutenant Verona Kane
Lt. VERONA KANE is tough, strong, a natural leader; a homicide lieutenant due to her professionalism, intelligence and great arrest record.

With all that, there is something about her. Something hidden. Other officers whisper that she's a bit "out there."

Certainly she thinks outside the box - she was the only cop to suspect a Cthulhu Mythos connection to the many disappearances which blight the Puget Sound area.

She lives with her wife, the exotic and mysterious MARISHKA

Curt Bryson
CURT BRYSON is "The Mythos Expert".

In Mythos circles he is known as "The Librarian" for his alleged collection of the most evilly sacred and dark Mythos manuscripts, including of course, the diabolical "Necronomicon".

He knows almost everyone in Lovecraft circles and personally is integrous and highly idealistic.

He is as devoted to understanding the world of Mythos as he is to his health - he loves biking and staying fit.

Ed Young
Before his Mythos obsession consumed him, ED YOUNG was probably a normal guy. Now, though, his eyes and quirky mannerisms only hint at the darkness swirling inside.

The problem is, most visitors lured to his home don't realize that a knock on his door starts the last ninety minutes of their lives. Each person who steps through his doorway will become bait - a potential victim for a Mythos god. And Ed will stop at nothing just to get a video of that beast from another world.

Once LT. KANE focused on Cthulhu Mythos fanatics, it was only a matter of time before Ed becomes a primary focus for undercover officer MO GOLES.

Jan Fitzgerald
JAN is angry, violent, unfriendly — soft only for the monstrous diety she worships - Ithaqua. She lives to serve him, her ultimate quest is to bring him a "wife" who can bear him children.

Her devotion to Ithaqua is painfully heightened by her own inability to have children - a condition for which she can't forgive herself. As a result, the screams of her female victims as they are taken by Ithaqua mean nothing to her.

Jan will not be halted, but Mo must stop her.
